Join Boys Town and the University of Nebraska Omaha for the fourth annual Empowerment in Special Education Conference and Resource Fair. Parents, caregivers, teachers, related service providers and community members are invited to join us to learn from presenters. Enjoy engaging sessions on topics like advocacy, teaming up with school staff, supporting children with anxiety, and fun recreational activities—all designed to help families and professionals grow together. Local organizations will host tables with information about how they support and celebrate the abilities of all students. We have also added a poster session to share recent research on supporting students with disabilities.
