Teaching Strategies for Supporting the Academic, Behavioral and Emotional Needs of Students

In 2023, the Child and Family Translational Research Center of Boys Town National Research Hospital conducted a research study with teachers to gain an understanding of the challenges faced in the classroom since the COVID-19 pandemic, and solutions to address these challenges. Several themes emerged based on the ideas shared by the teachers. To view the study summary, download the PDF.

Bibliography

We publish an annual Applied Research Bibliography summarizing Boys Town Youth Care research publications to-date. The 2023 version contains 592 citations and is categorized according to the major types of service programs offered by Boys Town.

Social Media Posts

We created #FactualFridays posts as a means to disseminate frequent, concise, and vetted Boys Town youth care program and services research findings across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

These findings primarily come from articles the Translational Research Center has published in peer-reviewed, scientific journals and occasionally come from technical reports compiled using the Boys Town National Database or follow-up survey data of former youth collected by the National Data Management Systems department and the Translational Research Center Clinical Data Support department.

Please note that #FactualFridays posts are evolving and may include posts from other Boys Town National Research Hospital research centers in addition to the Translational Research Center.
